My concept and design approach that I imagined for a lap steel guitar was to draw interest from guitar players that are searching for ways to expand their musical expression on a six string guitar in a whole new way. I decided to use familiar shapes and hardware with my creations that a player were already accustomed to. 

I currently offer two models, the Lap Daddy and Map Daddy. Both are available with a choice of a 23” scale or a 25” scale. The 23” inch scale are for players who use a lot of slant chords in their playing. The shorter scale allows easy and effortless accuracy and execution for those beautiful slant chords. 

Players like myself that grew up playing rock and blues, find that the 25” scale allows the use of heavier strings (yielding incredible tone and sustain), while usually playing under the influence of an overdrive pedal of some sort. Whether you’re a blues rock slash & burn kind of player or bona fide countrified picker playing sweet swingin’ melodies and chords, I believe I can satisfy your craving to glide and slide.
