Rhythm Rider
The Rhythm Rider was inspired from a turn-of-the-century acoustic parlor guitar that totally has the rhythm guitar player in mind. If playing chords is all you do and you consider everything above the 12th fret a waste of real estate, this could be the perfect guitar for you. As a dedicated open tuning bottleneck slide guitar player, I was looking for an old school vibe and a design suited for those needs and this fits the bill.
Lightweight & balanced, the Rhythm Rider features a single Wolfetone P90 pickup in a neck or bridge position option. The neck position option offers a nice fat and smooth rhythm tones, however I use a pair of 500K tone & volume pots to give a boat load of top end there when you need a more aggressive tone for inspiration. With the tone knob all the way up, you would think you were hearing a bridge pickup. The rear pickup option features two 250k pots and gets you great rockin' roll chord tones and face melting top end.
All Bone frog Guitar necks and bodies are mated with stainless steel machine screws and stainless knife threaded inserts designed for hardwood application instead of traditional wood screws. A two way truss rod and two carbon fiber stiffing rods keep the neck straight. Bone nuts, Jascar frets, CTS pots, Hipshot classic open tuners or (locking tuners) and quality hardware is all standard.
I offer different wood and hardware options, and all Bone Frog bodies are chambered for weight relieve. Average weight is 6.5lbs. Comes with a Levy's heavy duty pro gig bag.
